"My work presents autobiographical narrative and sociological investigation, both of which use jewelry and objects as a platform for discussion. This body of work focuses on portraying and discussing inherent qualities of vulnerability, fragility, and protection, all made with digital and traditional craft techniques. All works are created using 3D scanning as a digitally archival tool abstracting from a source, which necessitates the use of emerging craft media within my studio practice.
My studio consists of a typical jewelers bench, a 3D scanning system, a few 3D printers, other hot glue machines, amongst a ton of other unorganized metalsmithing stuff."
